- FTP traffic accounts for 3% in terms of requests and around 10% in terms of bytes.
- There are NO complete mirrors
- Approximately 30% of the mirrors have problems with timestamping.
- URNs are not particularly helpful when working with software collections.

- We can workout all of these problems without additional
LARGE infrastructure
